I've been in braces for 3 months. I have ceramics on the top and bottom. I have the tooth-colored ligatures for all 3 months. The only thing that I've noticed that has stained them has been tomato based pasta sauce, but it stained the ligs on back teeth, where I chew. Plus, I ate a lot of pasta in one sitting. I haven't eaten curry so I don't know if the tooth-colored ligs get stained by curry. Also, I decided to get colored (periwinkle) ligatures on the bottom row for fun. I'll keep the tooth-colored on the top row because I don't want to scare my patients when I do their evaluations. I already look young for my age and the braces don't help either, so I'm trying to maintain some professionalism:)
