In my company (about 250 people at this site) there was one woman, probably mid to late 20s, who had metal braces...unfortunately she left the company two or three months ago before I got serious about this and had a chance to talk with her about it! Anyway, I barely knew her so it would have been odd approaching her and asking her about the state of her teeth.

In your first note you asked if I had spoken with friends/family/co-workers about getting braces, and the answer is that I haven't. For some reason this seems like the scariest part of the whole process to me. I'm undecided as to whether I should talk about this with one and all or not say anything to anyone. I wonder how most people address this pre-braces issue.

In any case, good luck on your big day next week!
