Subject: Obsession with Brushing Teeth Anyone?

This is kind of funny I suppose...
I've had my braces on for a month now and am obsessed with brushing my teeth. I know brushing your teeth is a good thing but can you brush them too much? I'm worried I'm going to brush the brackets right off one of these days lol. I always brush after I eat even if it's just a snack and I can brush my teeth for 20 minutes at a time (sometimes longer than that before I go to bed). I guess I'm a little worried about spending all this money (I don't have) on my smile and then ending up with either white spots, cavities or God only knows what. I've never had a cavity in my life but I've also never worried about it as much as now.

Also, I am always buying something new for my teeth! Yesterday it was a Hummingbird Flosser. They're only ten bucks but I heard they worked quite well. Before that, I bought Cherry Berry dental floss and boy is it yummy! I think the time before that I bought my crest spinbrush.

I'm guessing that the novelty might wear off soon. Did anyone else ever find themselves spending so much time brushing? I know brushing is good but is there such thing as brushing TOO Much?

Sincerely,
(your obsessed toothbrusher :P) Naomi
