I had significant spacing throughout the upper arch, particularly in front. To give you an idea...once they moved the front four together, it looked like I had an extraction gap to close.
I'm happy to report that 7 months in, and too many power tubes (a little different than chains), closing loops and four archwires later it is almost gone!
Closing loops are impressive little things...though the loops caused quite a raw spot inside my upper lip, the ortho has promised that my next adjustment he will get rid of it!
Are you sure they aren't moving at all? Sometimes it is so subtle, and by looking at it every day, you can't always see the changes. Try taking pictures every week and comparing them over time.
Good Luck!
