I actually just had my wisdom teeth taken out last Friday so I'm still in recovery mode. I was put to sleep and had a oral surgeon take out eight teeth. My wisdom teeth were impacted so they had to cut into the gums to remove them. The bottom ones were growing in side ways so they were apparently a little more difficult to pull out (I wouldn't know because I was knocked out!) I've been in braces for nine months now and my ortho decided that it was time to have my wisdom teeth and four bicuspids extracted. I can't tell you that it's been a whole lot of fun, but I'm recovering....I'm sure it could be a lot worse. I'm sure it's different for everyone but it sure was a lot of pain for me but I keep telling myself it will all be worth it in the end. Good luck with your teeth!
