I'd say get a blender or food processor, I know they were talking here that you can use baby food, but even with my kids I rarely bought baby food, I'd just pop stuff into the blender and eat it all mushed up. You can do chunky soups that way, even stews (I don't know about meat, I'm a vegetarian so I don't deal with that at all) -- cooked vegetables, even raw apples can be made into applesauce that way and so much more nutritious -- baby food is pretty overly processed stuff. Mash bananas and mash up cottage cheese with it, a little protein and bananas are filling.
