 At the risk of being too obvious, I lived on soft food the entire time I had spacers. I couldn't even chew chicken that had gone through the food processor. Chewey bacon bits in soup gave me fits. I was in bad shape, LOL. This is pretty much what I lived on:

smoothies (protein powder, milk and fruit in blender)
ice cream (bad, I know)
bannanas
cottage cheese
s/f puddings with whipped cream
jello with whipped cream
meat loaf made in a crockpot so it was VERY soft
mashed potatoes
yogurt

Hope you can get back to normal food soon, I felt like I ate something cool often to eat the pain, but was never really full...Good luck :-)
