My ortho told me many people find spacers the worst. I had no problem with them, although I had three metal ones that I could barely feel. I also find the braces don't annoy me at all. Sometimes my teeth feel a little tender, and besides from food getting stuck in them, and limiting what I can eat, I hardly notice them. (my first adjustment is Wednesday though, I may sing a whole new tune then!) Getting braces when I could afford them was an easy decision for me, but I realize other people struggle with it. Think about the long term benefits it will have. Good luck with your decision!
