I'm the Administrator of a skilled nursing facility, my residents average 92 years old, and their family members are usually in their 60's and 70's. Not one patient has ever said a word.
I've had the braces on since October, and just this past weekend, I had one of the nurses say, "you've gotten braces recently, right? I noticed something was different but couldn't put my finger on it." It took almost 9 months for her to really notice them.
Of course others have noticed and made comments, but absolutely nothing negative. If anything, they've been supportive and understanding.
