No offense to everyone but I agree with Chuck too. I would of rather had my braces on at 16 than at 28. I think we all know that braces are expensive. In my family other things such as food and education was more important. Some kids are more mature than others at 16 also. If I would of spoke to my parents like this child supposedly talked to his/her parents or grandparents I would of been grounded. My parents always pressed upon my sibling and I that respect is the key. If you want to be respected you must respect others. I understood this way before I was 16. I think Chuck was just trying to say that the post lack of respect for his parents is upsetting and aggravating.

Good Luck with your treatment I'm Really Tired. Hopefully someday you will appreciate it and realize that you are lucky.
