You might try the 1850 Census for Overton County, Tenn--
several members of Jones family are listed.

My gg grand mother was Frances Jones, married to William R.
Walker----who knows we may be kin! Good luck!

I was searching for my husband's ancestry and came across your request. Have you found anything on Jack and Mary Walker? I don't have any information other than they were my husband's great, great, great, great, grandparents.
