Think about this scenario. The board enforces recreational equipment so some homeowner trash their basketball goals. Nobody wants to play hoops in their backyard.

Three months later they change the rule and allow the goals. I was at a meeting and they seem to be leaning towards changing this rule so why bother enforcing it now. You haven't enforced it for 10 years, why start a couple months before you change the rule?
