 Does this man know more than he is telling, or is it simply he's ashamed of an affair with this intern. What's your opinion?

My thoughts are that he was an idiot to try to hide the affair. He's been in Washington long enough to know that doesn't work once the digging around has begun. He's made some other bonehead moves too it would appear.

My money is on the wife, though.

First, your correct, affairs will come out in situations like this. So there was no way for him to try and hide it. He was wrong there, and to wait so long. But, I can see him trying to hide it for the sake of his family. That is not unusual.
Here's what I have really not seen the police hone in on. All that was missing from her apartment was her keys. This tells me she left to meet someone she knew very well. Or, someone in her apartment building. Knowing she didn't need anything else for the present time. It would seem to me to visit another apartment more so than meeting someone say downstairs waiting in a vehicle. Seriously, how many of us do not grab our wallet/purse just to hop in a vehicle and go somewhere quick with our friends or acquaintance. At least I take my wallet if I leave my house. But I have visited my friends in other hotel rooms say for example with just my room card/keys..
Who did she last talk to?? I'm sure they know that by now. But what was the time line between her last phone call. Maybe it was he and they know this..They were talking about two prior deaths of women that looked similar to Chandra, but they were attacked outside their residents and had identifications found on or near their disappearance.
I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't someone she visited in the apartment house who had a crush on her and knew she was leaving. Just her keys missing are a big puzzlement..
Well here's another scenario, if she was pregnant, maybe she did leave with just her keys for an abortion and was afraid if she took her identification to the clinic, it would reveal her identity. Maybe it was set-up this way and she died from the abortion. The clinic is covering it up. Anyway, hopefully if I can come up with a few possible scenarios's maybe the stupid police can.. Anyone else want to try a few solutions..

I have done as you say, gone to a different hotel room with only my room key and perhaps if she was only going to another apartment then she did as you say.

If I'm going out of the house, might not take my purse, but I do take the holder that has my license, credit card, and a little money.

I had considered the abortion angle too, but discarded it because it would involve too many people in a cover up. Someone is going to talk.

Well Pam had a point also about the laundry, I would think she had her own washer/dryer, because she's from a wealthy family. If the stupid police (maybe they're not as stupid as we think) looked for things like only the keys missing, maybe laundry or whatever, they know more than they are saying. I have a sneaky suspicion that Condit is a prime suspect because they are now pushing for a lie detector test administered by the police. What makes him suspicious is he's hiding behind his lawyer, if your not guilty, why use this method. Doesn't everyone know now he's had an affair, big deal now..So you think his wife may be involved also HUH.

I'm ashamed to say I have heard absolutely nothing about this, but I'm assuming some woman disappeared from her apartment and all that was missing (besides her) was her keys?

Okay, someone comes to her apartment, drugs her and abducts her. They take her keys because they want to come back later and look for something. Or, same scenario, but she just had her keys in her pocket, instead of her purse, and they were abducted with her. The abortion clinic scenario doesn't make sense, unless you go on the assumption that someone in the clinic is going to go through her purse while she's sedated to discover her identity.

The police need to check and see if there's a clothes hamper or basket missing if she doesn't have a washer/drier in her apartment. Doing laundry is the most logical explanation for someone only having their keys with them.

The Congressman is Condit fom California. It's all over the news for the past few weeks. You must be working hard and not watching TV. But, without knowing about this, you did bring up some good points. The problem is/was Pam, is the police never really started looking for her until about three weeks after her parents from California urged them too.

DP is so involved with surveys now, nothing more can be discussed. I mean I took so dam many survey in the Army, I cannot stand any at all now..Now they have the photo shoots over there and whatever..Jeez..
I'm going to make me some stuffed Bell peppers tonight with mashed taters and corn. Fresh bread and some wine. Been craving the Bell peppers for a week now. Come on over...

I've been watching over my green peppers like a mother hen watching her eggs! I, too, have had a craving for stuffed peppers. And tomatoes and corn on the cob. Oh, I do love the fresh produce.

According to Doctors who really know their field, they say your body knows more than they will ever know. If you are craving something, make sure you eat it. Your system is lacking some type vitamin and the food you crave has it.
I just finished eating my stuffed peppers, man it was good. Hope you liked yours also. Now I'll go and see what vitamins it has..Now I am eating some grapes. So is my dog Lucky. He also ate Bell peppers.Spoiled brat he is..LOL

Yeah, I've heard that too, and I believe it. I've read that if a young child is left to his own devices, he'll 'graze' from a variety of foods and end up eating a balanced diet on his own. I'm still wondering what is the magic ingredient in chocolate that makes me crave it every month. For real food, what I crave the most is red meat and vegetables. I don't eat a lot of starches.

I really like reading the surveys and the pictures are great. It makes DP seem so friendly. I don't understand why some people are complaining about them? It's not like you can't post anything else if the mood strikes? Clint, what's up with that? How come you seem so out of sorts?

All of it (pictures/surveys) are ok, it's now just strung out too much. You know how the penis thread was that everyone hates. Well because it went on and on. That's what I was saying. Maybe the pictures and Surveys should be in the family room. No, I'm not grumpy, I just like to see remedy's of other peoples posts rather than beating one post to death. Ok, just my opinion, but I wouldn't post any pictures of my family or myself on a open board..Go figure..

Ha, another conservative who tells idiots one thing and privatly listens to his willy for other things.

Son of a preacher who yapped and raved about morality (and how there is no morality without God) and got to Congress, by telling puritan idiots what puritan idiots want to hear...

I would not be surprised if she was going to go public with the affair to make a buck and he had a contract on her.

Conservatives believe that elites don't need obey the commandments they place on idiots...
