cheers Dave , got great memories of barbs, seen some great bands there thou much is a blur due to drinking to much beforehand at The Crown (brums punk pub)!!, Boy george was a reguler at Barbs along with his mate Marion, but i can`t help but think Roger was there around that time too, i must be getting my wires crossed,oh well never mind .
Its also great of you to share your memories of the clash, they were without doubt in my mind the best band that came out of the punk scene and i still listen to the lps to this day and am so envious of anyone who had the great fortune to have met them. Any way thanks again and all the best for the new year.
......Ray
