or, perhaps more aptly, what will in his ultimate wisdom and boredom believes to be the cure to all of hulls maladies.

1. more out of town bands. not fucking huge bands that the kerrang kiddies love, 'cos frankly i don't give a shit about them and i don't think they'll help the scene out at all. but smaller semi-local and touring national and international bands. i know i keep banging on about it, but almost all the gigs i go to in leeds could take place in the adelphi.

i think it only fair to point out that murph and karla, and harry darren and arthur are already making a pretty damn good job of sorting this.

2. a decent punk / hardcore / metal / whatever night club type thing, preferably with bands, a la raw nerve or juvenile hall in leeds. dunno where, 'cos the adelphi shuts too early (i think) but i've had some ace nights at similar things in (yes) leeds.

3. that's it. there was more but i forgot.
