Raith growls deeply, his sword comming out almost immediatly. With a deep slash, he strikes one of the one of the pirates, just under their sword, a deep gouge into their stomach. That pirate huddles over in pain, holding his stomach in hopes the pain might go away. Two of them circle around Raith, believing that this might make a better position to kill him. Charging at the same time, both staves are swong in opposite directions towards Raith. Reaching out, he grabs one staff, using his sword one handed to slice through the other staff, leaving the pirate unarmed. Using brute strength, he uses the staff in hand, tossing the frightend pirate on the other end across the boat into the crowd of others. Turning his gaze, he see's the other one staring blankly at Raith, wondering what happend. Grinning, Raith reaches forwards suddenly, lifting him by the shirt. He watches as the man in his hand is squirming for his life. Bringing his sword up, he slices the man's throat, tossing him over the side of the boat without much trouble. The last two hang outside, holding their swords defencively. With a yell from both, they charge, right infront of Raith. Swinging in a downward fashion, Raith easily counters with bringing his sword up in a horizontal. In a dead lock, Raith tries to summon a spell, but it wouldn't work.. So he did the next best thing, he uses all his strength, and pushes both of them off balance, kicking one in the stomach, sending him to the ground in pain. Then the last one, he charges, kneeing him in the family jewels, obiously making him get out of battle. At last Raith turns to face the creature, breathing heavily, but not seeming to wear him down any further. Just grinning, he growls out, "Your turn.."
