afternoon Peter. i have to agree with you on that brisket being one of the best things to do on the Q. the tenderness and flavor takes a back seat to nothing. the last few i did were CAB's and $2.99/lb but were very good.

when you refer to boxed prices is there a certain weight or number of flats per box ? also how thick of a cap ? down here they trim them so tight and i normally have to cook a shoulder over them to baste or layer with pork fat.
