It's just dawning on me that steak spice is not a universal kitchen staple...I thought everybody used it, but now I see it seems to be something peculiarly Montrealish :-) Huh. Okay, if I do a brisket I will use that, and some cloves as well.

So do you live near that place that does those funny crumbly hamburgers that have (I think) some lamb in them, that people used to have loaded onto Air Canada flights and flown all over the continent? A place so famous that I can't seem to remember the name...:-P I went there once.
