What If?

What if swords
Were used to scoff
To pick your teeth
Or slice your bread
What if forks
Were meant to fight
Like mini tridents
With tiny blades
What if birds
Dug in the ground
While watching moles
Fly through the air
What if baths
Were best of all
And being bad
Was very dull
What if all were jealous?
Of Ma Mellus
And thought she was
Kind as can be
What if nettle soup
Was totally sweet
And dibbuns sneaked
Portions of it
What if vermin
Helped everyone
And little mice
Were cruel and rude
What if cursing
Was taught a lot
Inside the doors
Of the Abbey School
What if a dibbun
Fought a war
Destroyed all
Five thousand wolves
What if bedtime
Became the latest fad
The coolest thing
To come to DAB
What if these things
Were right and true
Would it affect me?
