This is Fireshine's autobiography. If you would like to know about her life, read on.

Fireshine was born in the Juskaliss clan. The chief at the time was Sardis Liss, a mighty assassin. Her father and mother, Tarn and Mina, were both Sardis's trusty friends. When Fireshine was born, Sardis's present was a willow switch, the weapon she wielded. Fireshine's coat was luscious and a pretty fire color, earning her name. As the young vixen grew up, she was strangely peaceful and refused to kill a single creature. When she was a foxmaid, Fireshine married the Taggerung of the clan, a big golden fox named Goller. However, they often had arguements and one day, Fireshine left the clan. She had only a dim dream of a destination, but the clan gossip told her to go to a place called Redwall, to the east. As she was running off, she saw a big sandstone building. Arriving at the huge gates, Fireshine knew she was in safe and friendly hands.
