I am semi-happy about the Wilson Phillips mention. We all know that Carnie and Wendy would be more than happy to barricade themselves in Carnie's basement and pop out a new WP album. CHYNNA on the other hand.....I've said it before and I'll say it again: "Chynna doesn't give a S*#$ about WP or her fans." If she did we wouldn't be waiting around like idiots for another WP album. I know people who make albums in their bedrooms and release them on CD-Rs! They do it because they LOVE it. And as much as I LOVE "California" I don't really understand why they did it. They were all "We're BACK!" I was like: "Yeah!!! But for how long?" Guess I found out. Long enough to make some money off of us.

I've always thought that they had every intention of staying together as a group after California came out, but then Chynna got pregnant and that ended up changing things into what they are now. I have a feeling that Chynna considers her time with Wilson Phillips to be part of her past and has moved on to Christian music, so I think Carnie's plan to get together and record another album in her basement studio will end up not happening. Hopefully Carnie can persuade her to do just one last album of original material and then they can put the Wilson Phillips chapter of their lives to a close.

There were several interviews where Chynna said how much she and the girls loved singing together and how she doesn't want to live without it. If she never would have said that I probably wouldn't think that Chynna just wanted the $$$.

I definitely think that Carnie has a lot of persuasion to do with Chynna before they start recording together. It's upsetting because they have so much original material just sitting there. As an artist, you'd think she wants it out there to be heard. I think that Chynna truly knows her roots are Wilson Phillips but she's reluctant to stay together as a group because of mixed feelings on the industry and success as well as time with her family. There's a balancing act to be done and I don't think she wants to do it.
Hopefully Carnie will once again convince her of the passion they all 3 have when they sing together and she'll agree to at least another project or two. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed.
