Does anyone know what happened to it, whether Google caught on and deleted the account? There were a couple of songs I wanted to download now that I have DSL, but not I'm not able to. |

It's more of a duet with Rob and he did write it so it's cool to hear them together and know it's an original. There seems to be a better sound to this song because there is prominent guitar(the solo) and drums, etc....the others so far that have been posted seem to be more keyboard and synth oriented. |

IRL, I don't tell anybody that I like them; usually when someone asks me what type of music I like, I just say "whatever is on the radio" as I pretty much like to keep what I like private. Online, I have, on separate message boards, posted a message saying that I liked WP and asked if anyone else did; both times the reaction was not that positive. One person had said that they had liked them back when they were 12-14 years old but then they matured, indirectly saying that I was immature for being 26 (at the time) and still liking them. These days, I just have WP listed as an interest on LiveJournal and MySpace and leave it at that. (Other reactions online have been: a crapload of smilies that barf, "why do you like a group that only made three albums?" and "bleh! only losers with no taste like that shit!") |

I never imgined getting Chynna's Unfinished Buisiness and Free This Feling from her underrated classic of a solo album Naked and Sacred. Not to mention Bye Bye Birdie tracks, Wendy "with the grorgeous voice" Wilson's version of Jennifer and a new 2007 mix of her songs. My Naked and Sacred album got corrupted with one track now unplayable and its breaking my heart. I am gonna have to but the album again if I can't find the track again. So if someone could upload it to Yahoo mailI I would be ETERNALLY grateful. The song is WILL YOU. I have been a Wilson Phillips fan since their first song came out in 1990 and they will always remain my favourite group of all time - I like The Beatles - Carpenters, Abba, Corrs - but NOTHING SURPASSS the GENIUS harmonies of Wendey, Carnie and Chynna. |

Rank those ten videos from favorite to least favorite and explain why you like or don't like a video. If you can't explain why you ranked a video the way you did, you can mention what your favorite parts of the video are, like what I did below. 1) You Won't See Me Cry - this is ranked at number one because I just love the whole look of the video; I liked when I first saw the video 15 (wow!) years ago and I like it now. Very sexy. 2) Impulsive - love how this shows their playful side after doing two "serious" videos. I also like the "flip book" effect that's used in parts of the video 3) The Dream Is Still Alive - my favorite parts of this video is where they're surrounded by candles and when they show the pictures of them as kids. 4) You're In Love 5) Give It Up - loved the party atmosphere of this video 6) Release Me 7) Hold On 8) Already Gone - my favorites parts of the video are the Pier concert scenes; my thoughts about the rest of the video are below* 9) Go Your Own Way* 10) Flesh And Blood - I ranked this as my least favorite because the video isn't very memorable to me, despite the subject matter of the song. *I ranked their comeback videos as low as I did because I feel that not much thought was put into them. Both videos involved them just driving around LA and standing around a microphone in the studio; it makes for a pretty boring video. The Already Gone video ranks higher than Go Your Own Way because of the Pier concert scenes which is the best part of an otherwise boring video. |

For me, I didn't know that they existed until I saw the first album back in July of 1990 when I was deciding what tape to buy with my birthday money (my 11th birthday); I was attracted to the cover and I bought it on that fact alone. I listened it when I got home and liked it immediately; I have been a fan ever since, though in the last few years my interest has gone back and forth, based on what mood I'm in. I'm looking forward to hearing everyone else's answers. :) |

I doubt that she would do any of the songs that were on Hey Santa, but if she did, they would probably be the songs that Wendy did the lead on (Rudolph, Jingle Bell Rock). She might do Christmas songs that we've never heard her sing before, like Grownup Christmas List or Wham's Last Christmas or even some original songs. I can't wait to get this one, as I love Christmas songs; I still need to get her lullabye album. The last time I went a long period of time to getting a WP related album was the Wilsons, which I got about 15 months after its release. |

It sounds smooth and beautiful. I usually don't like her voice alone. The harmonies on both songs are to die for. So if you get a chance to purchase the CD do it because it is worth it. This one is from the iParenting site and Carnie was the Mom of the Month last June. There's even a small part mentioning Wendy's kids: Lola also enjoys spending time with her cousins, Leo and Beau. "Leo is 2 1/2 and Beau is 1 1/2," says Wilson. "And they are just the most loving little boys. We try to spend every weekend together. We have the family and her grandma come to visit during the week, but on the weekends we have either dinner, brunch or breakfast and we all spend time playing. It's just great. Date Posted: 23:49:34 01/29/07 Mon There are two new clips on YouTube from 1991 TV appearances that look like they were overseas somewhere since I didn't recognize the names of the shows. The one of "Release Me" is really good and they do "Impulsive" on the same show but that one is lip-synched unfortunately. I don't know of a time when they lip-synched anything so I was surprised to see it done. I'm wondering if it was requested by the show or what. Oh well, it's still great to see some old footage and the live version of "Release Me" was really good. |

This station is one of those 80s/90s/today stations, but they don't have WP in their rotation, so to hear not only a WP song but a lesser known hit shocked the crap out of me. I hadn't heard that song on the radio in years and I kind of predicted that they would play that song once I discovered that they started adding early 90s songs to their Time Warp rotation. Just thought I would post about this to get the board moving again. :) |

The singer thought her problems were over when she shed 150 pounds (63 kilograms) after drastic surgery in 1999 but admits she simply transferred her food addiction to one of wine and spirits. Appearing on yesterday's (24OCT06) OPRAH show, Wilson revealed she once consumed a bottle of wine and 10 Margaritas a day and was "absolutely crocked" when she shot her infamous Playboy spread in 2003. She explained, "I find that after people have this surgery there is a time of euphoria and you are out celebrating... You wanna dance, you wanna move, you can get up and dance, you can suddenly move without sweating or being out of breath. "The drinking progressed more and more and I found I was getting drunk very fast and I was getting sober very fast and it was frightening because I saw myself going down a dark spiral very quickly." But, after driving home drunk from a shopping trip in Los Angeles, Wilson confronted her husband ROB BONFIGLIO and asked him to tell her if she was an alcoholic. Bonfiglio recalls, "We really wanted to start a family and we were five years into our marriage at that point and she was really kind of in the whole alcoholism stage and I said, 'You're either gonna sober up and be sober for a little while before we start trying to have a baby, or I don't really see us going anywhere. What's the point?'" Sobbing Wilson told show host OPRAH WINFREY she hit rock bottom at that point and has been sober ever since. She added, "I wanna be the best mom I can be, that's why I'm clean. I wish I could've gone but Atlanta is just too far away!! Anyway, I was told that there were no "new songs" and that they performed songs from their cds, WP, the Beach Boys, the Eagles and ABBA. (I've always thought they'd do well covering ABBA - wish I could've heard that one). Also, this was their first show and they didn't mention any others except that they hoped to return to the area next year at a larger venue. |

Date Posted: 22:56:45 08/10/06 Thu I'm still keeping up with all of Carnie's happenings and appearances. I was disappointed in the Craig Ferguson interview, it was all of 3 minutes long. Not to mention his attempt at being humorous by mocking the term "morbid obesity." What was that about? I thought he was lame. I am glad to see Carnie got to be the Fit Club Team Captain for her team, this only means more exposure which is good! I also just caught her segment on the Preview Channel's interview segment with John Fugelsang and Debra Wilson. I got excited when they asked about her "upcoming" CD....they were referring to the already released lullaby album however. Still a cool little segment though. She's also been in a lot of the weekly magazines like US and In Touch so I've been making sure to pick those up each week. She was on ET briefly tonight as well but only a segment from an upcoming "Fit Club." And she's in this week's TV Guide magazine. And she's looking so great, I'm proud of her! So although I'm not posting regularly here,I am still on top of all the latest haps with Carnie. That'll never change. Now I'm just going to enjoy seeing her weekly on TV and still hoping for more music, soon! Fingers are still crossed for new WP material of course as well. Craig |

As U can tell by my name, being a blonde is SO over-rated. Thank God Lindsay & Kelly Clarkson have their natural hair color back! |

I've heard the song and the lyrics remind me of something that Wilson Phillips would sing. Then, I remembered Carnie's initial album title....and I wondered if it was the same song. Date Posted: 12:53:59 07/13/06 Thu Carnie was the last guest on the show and she sang "Lola Sofia" from her album; I like that she sings a different song each time since none of the songs have been released to radio. I didn't catch everything, but it sounded to me like she has now lost all of her baby weight but the dress that she chose to wear didn't really show it; I'll have to watch it again to get exactly what she said. It also sounds like she's still filming Celebrity Fit Club because she said that she had to haul around horse manure last week. And she said that she definitely wants to have more kids. And no, nothing was mentioned about Wilson Phillips. :) |

By the way, I found that in You Tube.com you can watch a lot of this videos. And on emule you can downloaded some other too. Specially flesh and Blood have a wonderfull resolution. Ok see you at Carnie Wilson my space. By the way, she is so fat? I mean, I read that she is going to be in a reality show about celebrities. Here in Vh1 latin america we don't have that show yet. Can somebody tell me about that... I checked the web site in VH1.com and she looks amazing, so beautifull as usual. |

I was reviewing BMI and EMI's websites and there were 2 titles listed that I don't remember being there. Here is a list of song titles. These songs were written by at least the 3 of them: Cry, Cry to Me Finally Good Life New Love Shadows of my Heart Ten Feet Tall Perfect Sense These were written by at least Chynna and Carnie: Beautiful at Last I'm Already Gone (not Eagles cover) I do not know when they were published, but I do believe that all of them showed up during the era when they were writing material for the new original material album that's not been released. |

Date Posted: 13:36:02 06/30/06 Fri im glad 2 see that there is a carnie board here on voy. ive been looking 4 one 4ever & when i typed carnie in google and saw this pop up i freaked lol my mom got the wls because of carnie & now shes healthy enuf 2 see me graduate from high school. i got her new cd last week 4 my birthday and i love it so much all the songs made me cry. i just got a job & will use the money 2 get all of the wilson phillips cds. byeeee! lol |

Date Posted: 17:48:11 06/29/06 Thu I am excited about the new WP album coming. I think it is going to be next year because Carnie discussed another child and that will allow her some time.. I do hope they do make a regular album.. hopefully the songs they recorded. I think too they want to allow Carnie to have her time as well with her album, which I really like. Has hints of WP in it too. I am sure after the Christmas album -which too may help sales..will come a new regular WP album. I think they just want to concentrate on families as anyone would.
