Alright...

So I purchased Wendy Wilson's EP yesterday. I heard the songs coming to work this AM and my thoughts are...

The songs are okay. Illuminate and Instant Message were good, unlike Rhythm (Is all you need)which was so-so for me.
I wish the songs were more upbeat. Nevertheless, I'm happy to have new material from Wendy (whose my favorite of the group).

I heard the 3 tracks a little over 6 months ago from her website and downloaded the tracks then. They were more demo versions compared to the itunes that I just downloaded today. There are slight differences in the itunes versions....you can tell they improved quality and added different sounds here and there as well as some added vocals it seems. I definitely like them all. I think it was a cool side project she and her husband Dan did. It's exciting to have Wendy only material!

When I met Wendy & Carnie in December I showed Wendy the burned CD of the 3 tracks and she seemed surprised I had them and said they had a good response to them so far. So, it's cool to have them available to everyone on itunes.

I think all WP fans will like the songs, just hearing her vocals and having new material to listen to is something we all look forward to so much....and here we have something new and different!
