Faith! Eeeee! And Wesley! *incoherent fangirl squee*

Sorry, had to do that. I love Cordelia too, but since I started watching Angel from S3 (when she was still cool, despite the A/C gloopyness), I only got to know her well *after* seeing Buffy and the early seasons of Angel. And I don't think I've still quite recovered from the horror that was ConCord.

Hmm. I don't recognise half the characters (I watch very little television), but I do think I can see a pattern of sorts - jusding by the way I see the characters, of course. Michael and Madeline and Miss Parker and S4 Wesley - yes, pattern. And I do see Faith and Wes (and pre-canon!Michael) as similar character types in a way, odd as it may sound. Cordy and Faith, again somewhat similar - attitude, snarky, not as cool as they appear underneath, has real substance, though will pretend otherwise.

Okay, so after all that rambling, I want to say that for the TV shows at least, the actor or actress portraying the character has something to do with it. Not their looks per se, but what they did with the role.

Oh, of course! I love Madeline *because* Alberta Watson could portray her that way, and I love Faith because Eliza Dushku did such a fabulous job with her. Bad acting almost always ruins a character for me. *g*
