As I thought I made clear, Chelmsford is doing the right thing irrepective of what immediate cost savings there are or are not.

But maybe I'm old-school. I don't think superintendents or elected officials should make up a number (as in 5 kids times $7,000 is $35,000 savings) to justify their actions. It was intellectually sloppy and self serving for Mr. Moser to claim $35,000 in savings (at least anytime soon) in exchange for the $10,000 expenditure.

Who can argue about a net savings of $25,000 -- unless it doesn't really exist!
