Prejudicial and ignorant? No--sarcastic. Meant to inflame? You bet. It was a purely emotional statement. Productive? You be the judge. Based on the number of postings both for and against, I'd say "yes". Immature? No, that label goes to the obnoxious "adults" who couldn't keep their mouths shut while another person was speaking. I sat and listened to at least 15 private school parents and didn't say a word. They were unable to do the same when one person spoke a differing opinion.

You hit the nail on the head about inefficiency and waste in the system; one example being paying for busing private school children out of the district. Cutting waste needs to start at the top, with the state legislature. Instead of spending money on commercials asking voters to "support revenue" (code name: more taxes) they should be looking for ways to eliminate inefficiency and waste in the state governemnt system. Maybe then money could go to improving all school districts.
