Hi Zero

I like what you say about not seeing the difference between Consciousness and the manifestation as a wound or a split (which terminology pathologises rather than heals).

I can't see, however, how you can become "unenlightened". Moving from so-called 1st birth to 2nd birth (or whatever else you want to call it) IS a huge shift, especially and including dropping into full embodiment away from chronic identification with the mind. And this shift, to me, necessarily places me in a different way of being to many, many other people who have not undergone this transition. This doesn't make me superior (if you are meaning dropping the spiritual ego of being enlightened) but it DOES existentially place me with comparative superior insight to most of the people around me I know. I CAN'T pretend to go back to just being/thinking I'm a separate ego-identity, especially living mostly through my mind. If you see what I mean.

Gill
