Rich, this is quite beautiful. To discover that which we sought was simply the end of seeking, to arrive at not-knowing only to find that the goal we thought we sought has disappeared.

Perhaps it was the not-knowing that frightened us into seeking. The mind cannot hold the paradoxes it contains. This time we rest there, no longer afraid.

But to arrive at not-knowing, now there's the rub. For are not Doubt and Confusion the very Avenues that we must take?

There's so much pain, so much longing in the search, where does it go? We just don't know.

For awhile, however, it remains AS us for we embody all that led to the search long after the search is over. The mind lingers on and teaches us the lessons it wouldn't have us learn. Until at last it disappears and only the body is left to hold the pain. And the pain, seen by the "eye of dharma", changes into ...

Is this symphony ever over. Or is there another and another etude coming. We don't know.

Lovingly, Cassie
