Lately, I have been actually courting transcendence. This from someone who has fought vigorously for the legitimacy of Down in all things and situations, for years and years.
At this point, I have to laugh at myself here, cause when I got into the WD scene, I was completely satiated with bliss and ecstacy states, having thoroughly experienced that they in and of themselves were no remedy at all for the stark realities of the undersoul......
Find myself missing the bliss, although not missing being "blissed out." Find myself valueing all opportunities to just suck up that Nectar, you know?
And, failing that, numbing out, when available, is a fine substitute. I have been a "get down soldier" long enough, thank you very much!
Far as I'm concerned, numbing out is just as viable an expression of Consciousness, at least post 2B, and maybe in general, as any other state.
And, balance seems to be some kind of master key in all this.
Cassandra, what is it exactly that you find yourself doubting? Your own 2B? The value of it? Something else?
Get a kind of double message here: you enjoy going down and wallowing, yet it causes you to need to escape and to doubt?
Not that any of us is at all consistent........
