I rememeber awhile back i was debating on exwitch that it was wrong for god to punish adam when he didn't know eating the apple was wrong until after he did it. However, i was thinking about the garden of eden story and i see one MAJor flaw. WHat is said with the adam and even is they were free of sin but lived in an enviorment were sin was present or allowed to thrive or something like that. However had adam not of eatten the apple he could have still of sinned. I mean satan could have come to him and said kill eve and had he of not eaten the apple he would have not of known that was evil or wrong. (on an off note i think muslims and jews ave the idea of original sin down better than christians).. However, correct me if i am wrong but, isn't the idea of original sin that we sin without even knowing. If the knowledge of good and evil was infact passed on through adam and eve's offspring the knoweldge provided should be able to enlighten us on what is good and what is evil thus enabling us not to send .Were as the other way adam could have easily of sinned and not been aware of it.
