How you can think that I initiated a personal attack on you is beyond me. The point I made was a factual one and no apology is necessary. You have written opinions and collections of quotes on various subjects relating to Jehovah's Witnesses even though you have not read a single Watchtower book. Are not both of those things true? If so, why do I have to apologise? I suppose you could argue that even though these things are true, I had no right to say them or I had bad motives for saying them. Well, I can assure you it is with no pleasure that I pointed these things out. They bore direct relation to the way in which you were willing to condemn, not just the idea as I had presented it, but the article (which you had not read), and the author whom you know nothing about. I wanted no personal confrontation and you will notice that all of my responses have displayed a desire to avoid such. As I said, I was just deeply disappointed at the offhand manner in which you decided to reject the idea that I had tried (albeit, probably imperfectly) to present. Then I realised that it was foolish of me to expect anything else, since you also give blanket condemnations of Jehovah's Witnesses without reading their own literature in context.

I actually opened this discussion because I hoped that maybe we could talk together about a subject slightly distanced from our personal disagreements. But that was not to be. Why you have decided to bury the original discussion under all these attacks and threats against me I can only guess. What I said about you not reading any Watchtower books was intended to make you re-think your approach, just as I have similarly tried in the past, it was in no way intended as a personal attack. How you can construe that one remark as so personal as to merit the tirade of threats and abuse you have heaped on me in your recent posts (I have read the other one as well) is not easy to fathom. My conciliatory tone should not be mistaken for evidence that your bullying tactics are successful. I have nothing to hide, and if my saying so should result in yet more efforts on your part to hurt me even more, then there is little I can do about that.

I have said nothing that is not true. I have not tried to enflame. While you have dragged various issues in public I have not followed you in slinging mud. So please explain what I have to apologise for.
