Subject: Updates BSL

In Ottumwa the judge at a restraining order hearing on the breed ban against Amstaffs and American Pit Bull Terriers restrained the city from using the Chief of Police or any designee to identify Pit Bulls until the outcome of trial. The ruling came on March 14, 2003. Trial will be set within 120 days.
WAF will proceed to trial and focus on the constitutional violations of the dog owners.
