First off, if this was meant as an attack on Bush and the war as opposed to Kerry and the war let's not forget that Kerry voted for the war resolution and only now that it is politically smart is he against the war (not voting against a recent measure to increase war funding, but sitting it out (not much of a man of his own convictions if he can't show up for the vote, eh)).

There was no manipulation of intelligence - that is a lie bred of ignorance and I am tired of hearing it. Bush does not control the CIA, or other intelligence gathering entities so I challenge you to tell me how he manipulated the information they presented?

As for the voting, I vote NEARLY every time I can. I missed out on the last one, but that makes me no less of a citizen. People who don't vote haven't invalidated their opinions - they just call into question the strength of their convictions (like Kerry skipping votes).

Willing to run for office? Well - that's a toughie. I'd love to, but I'm sure you can see that my political opinions are far too whacked out for anybody to actually vote in my favor so it's not at the top of my priority list. You can enact as much or more change, however, outside of political office if.
