Subject: The Stupidy Surrounding George Bush

Okay. I need some answers. My faith in my fellow man is waning. Everyday I'm out there reading, talking to people, watching interviews and I've noticed some common threads of misinformation surrounding the Bush presidency. Sure, the guy is a bit of an ass, but where do we get justification for the following tidbits:

1) Bush is a warmonger and is likely to seek out new conflicts after Iraq and Afghanistan have settled just a bit (I've heard these mentioned a few times: Iran, Syria, Cuba (?), Venezuela (??), North Korea, and others).

2) The Bush taxcuts only benefit the wealthy and Bush is only enacting said cuts for personal gain. We can expect even more of this profiteering if he is re-elected.

3) Continuing in that vein, the most annoying recurring theme amongst the ABB crowd is this one (most recently voiced by Adam Yauch of the Beastie Boys, yet sadly repeated many times by friends, liberals, and "news" commentators): If re-elected, Bush will run rampant around the world doing whatever he likes since he now has nothing to lose.

4) Less annoying, but twice as ignorant, Bush will run for a third term and use the Supreme Court to ('once again') place himself in power.

5) Bush wants to destroy the environment.

Any help here? Can anybody help me out? PLEASE!

This is not a pro-Bush post, by the way. I am actually, and honestly worried when this level of idiocy pervades the mainstream. I have heard these comments again and again, and I can't stand it! If you are not a Bush supporter you have plenty of legitimate arguments against the man and his administration, why do you have to make up new and even more ridiculous ones???????
