Bush is going down. He and his administration did have ample evidence that something major was planned. I think he did what every other administration has done though. I don't think he took it seriously, and why would he? After all, even you stated that preventing it would have implied the desecration of our civil liberties. Nobody would have stood for that.

Then again, there is the fact that all this communication is Top Secret. Isn't it their responsibility to act responsibly in this situation? Regardless of how one answers that, Bush and his administration dropped the ball. Poor Shrub is just going to have to take the fall for this. Thank God it wasn't Gore who was in office. I can't imagine the bullshit that would have been coming out all the mouths of you morons if he was. Not only that, I bet he would have been impeached by now. Liberals aren't as good at pulling the wool as Morons are.

I say Bush and his administration are clearly responsible for failing to be responsible.
