 He shucked off the blue hoody without hesitation. She had indicated a desire for it and so he was simply fulfilling the request. If everything in life could be that easy. He gave her a gentle smile to show that he had meant no real harm by his words. The exterior of his features displayed the slightest of confusion as to why she would have been so panicked to begin with. They shared a bond of blood and nothing more. He noted that she must have a particularly large heart.

His arm extended as he handed her the dull blue hoodie that had been around his body only moments ago. It was thick but worn in. Its zipper was heavy and the gray lining held none of Zeth’s body warmth. “I’m feeling particularly in the mood for a cheeseburger.” It was a misplaced comment among so many well planned out ones. “Lets go to get some dinner. Ill pay since you had to safe me.” He gave a weak smile.
