 She offered a small smile as he exetended his hand to her. So he had seen her trip, and she thought that she had covered it up oh so well. She offered a soft laugh. "Sorry, wasn't really thinking that I would be climbing up fire escapes." Green eyes looked down to the metal grating as she placed her small hand into his large one, allowing him to help guide her over the grated platform so that she wouldn't trip and fall after getting her heels caught up in the metal grating. Once she had made her way over to where he stood and where she could be more comfortable and secure in her standing she released his hand. It was then that his brisk voice hit her. She was taken aback slightly by his words He was right though, she had no reason to scold or be angry with him. It wasn't his fault at all. She lifted green eyes to him. "I'm sorry. It wasn't your fault and I shouldn't be angry with you. I was just upset with the situation and Lucian and took it out on you." As their words settled upon the night air, the tension of anger beginning to ease and Ashena grew calm as Zeth's words hit the cold night air again. She looked up to him again with a small smile. It was freezing and she hadn't brought a jacket since she had rather abruptly left the house. "It is rather cold. Thank you Zeth." Her words were soft with gratefulness.
