Zeth had learned SO long ago not to touch things that were shiny. He still remembered the choking feeling of that god forsaken collar that he'd been cursed with...and the ring that had dearly cost him his prize possession.

He also liked to pretend that he was the boss and worked under his own orders. He let his eyes twist away from the dripping pearl only to watch the shadows crawl to Lucian's feet, breeding in a cest pool under his clad toes.

"I haven't seen her either. You know it. And if you're so superior- why don't you do it? Besides. I'm not taking anything you give me. And what part of "doing good" has to do with Briallan. If you could somehow figure out how to catch her, what would you do to her?"

It was all said as if the answers weren't of interest and as his lips closed, his eyes locked on Lucian's again.

"And what's your name? Which of the bastard twins are you?" Oh, low blow daddy.
