Awww. Zeth hurt Lucian�s feelings! Not! Without a flicker of movement, a shadow hound crept from the shadows to snap its dark fang at the back of Zeth�s thigh, followed by a high pitch yelp as it melted back into the background. Ask a stupid question, get a pain in the ass answer. A quiet laugh passed those lips as he twirled the chain around in circles around those agile fingers. Lucian appeared almost amused as he flung the jewelry at Zeth�s feet; its smoldering glow never faltering. If he were insulted by Zeth�s bantering, Lucian did not let this on� for once. Some times, it was more amusing to deny them a reaction.

�Because I know she�ll show up here eventually and having you turn her over to me will be even better than having my little beasties hunt her down. I would so like to have her in one piece. It�s terribly inconvenient when they�re delirious from pain� and messy when they�re missing appendages.�

If Zeth loathed Bri as much as he claimed, he should not give a damn what Lucian had in store for mommy dearest.
