Laughing fondly, the black stallion halted at his old friend's side, transfering a warm nudge onto the closest bay shoulder. Ever the red-eyed freak, he bared his fangs in an equine grin. "So... why precisely is everyone here? Not that I mind you all crowding up the precious air..." He nuzzled his daughter just as warmly as he had nudged his friend. Obviously clueless, as he had just stated, to the purpose of the gathering, he overlooked the small family of three standing to one side.

The dulling bay's eyes flash with a truly wicked grin. "So you haven't heard the wonderful new, Malussinn?" he says, nudging his amusingly-colored friend right back. "You're a great-grandpa! Who's aging now?" Of course he neglects to mention that by the same turn, he too has become an ancestor, for their collective pride and joy is related to both geezers.
