The fur on back of his neck bristled as he gazed upon the femme's countenance and his eyes narrowed. his ego was still under care, not quite what it used to be, but he was still proud enough and he responded with anger. his first instinct aws quickly lbocked out as any attack on her would be wasted by his most unfortunate handicap.. a second reason came to him quickly though the last time he'd responded childishly had been a harsh blow to his world. instead he tossed a response in icy tones;

I'm sure you'll enjoy the valley.

pivotting rather ungainly on his hind leg he hobbled off, head held high, in an actually rather comical gait. but to point that out to the seething stallion would have been to add insult to injury.
he wandered toward the forest, his faltering steps carrying him to the line of trees where he disappeared from sight, to stand among the shade and brood in private.f r o z e n | d r e a m s
