Subject: This does sound like a great opportunity, except for the high cost of housing and the problem of your daughter's education. I can't say more than that. I hope someone from the area will reply and answer you in detail.

[> Wow! What a change that would be. I don't remember anything about the Burbank area except it's where the studios were where they shot the tonight show with Johnny Carson. Not sure if you ever saw him but he's a late night talk show icon in the states. LA is so huge and there are alot of suburbs just like here in Minneapolis (only waaaaaaaaay bigger). Don't know what to say about your daughter (except that you have a 16 yr. old???? you two must look like sisters cuz you don't look very old to me!). I would write the Chamber of Commerce there and have them send you any and all information they can and they could probably get you a number or addy to write to in the school system there to see what your dd's options are too. Good luck! What an adventure *sigh*. I could use one about now... -- Lori, 22:26:22 01/20/04 Tue

[> [> Haha, thanks Lori! Yes, some people say my DD and I look like sisters, because we have similar hair. That's a huge compliment for me, but for her? Bwahahaha! Thanks for the tip with the chamber of c., I will do that! Great adventure, it sure is! It's just the right thing for me, because I get bored so easy and need changes. -- Martina, 03:30:41 01/21/04 Wed
