Subject: Betsy, I think this is great news and I hope you get what truly makes you happy. From working with nurses for nearly 10 years I am always in awe of their abilities and love of their work. Especially Hospice nurses - they have the biggest hearts of all. I know what you mean about money. I have a part time job with an engineering company that I hate, but it pays pretty well and I just started another part time job as a fitness instructor for the Curves Fitness Centers that I love, but it doesn't pay so well. So, we do what we can, and the rest will fall into place. Good luck and keep us up on when you get the job!

[> [> I've known all my life that I was destined to be a nurse. Actually, I think I have been in the healing business for many many centuries. I had a reading done the other day, and the woman told me some really interesting things. I had never met her before, but she cued into my profession (and my calling) right away. She told me that I have had several violent deaths and that is part of the reason I feel called to work with people making the transition between this existance and the next. She said all kinds of neat stuff, but I thought this was pretty interesting. And you are a Curves instructor??? I've been thinking of joining!!! You go, Girl!!!! We've got to feed our souls with our work, not just our pocketbooks. -- Betsy, 18:41:27 02/29/04 Sun

[> [> [> It's funny you mention having a reading done and were told about how you were called to this profession because of events in past lives. I have had two separate readings by two different psychics and both told me I had been a Native American female healer in a past life. While I have worked in the medical field in this life as a support person I have not pursued a degree in it. Perhaps being a Curves instructor is my way of helping to heal people by teaching them to take better care of themselves through fitness and healthy eating choices. By all means check our your local Curves, Betsy. Since I started Oct 28 I have lost nearly 20 pounds and 14 inches. I put on my size 10 jeans the other day and had room to spare. It works and it's fun! (Geesh, do I sound like a commercial or what?!) *g* -- Bandruidh, 21:35:44 02/29/04 Sun
