Subject: Hi Everyone,

I'm just amazed to see how many familiar names are back, I don't even know why I ended-up here when I have tons of things to do, but I'm wondering if it was a the "Spirit of our World" calling me back !
I'm really sorry if I don't show up here too often, I have a really hard time handling all at once. With my oldest starting middle-school it is an adjustment and a LOT of homework that keep us busy late at night, espcially those days she comes home late from a race.(she's in cross country and track). I've spent the whole summer in France, it was nice to be home and seeing the family but boy it was HOT! and I coughed the whole 6 weeks I was there, went to see the doctor twice, but nothing worked. I came back and after an other week of coughing and not breathing well, I went back to a doctor that diagnosed me with Asthmatic bronchitis. I guess I had to get into my 40's to start asthma! So I'm discovering the new world of Ventolin, Advair, Cingulair etc... Fun!!! Do you remember this commercial for Afrin when the guy wakes up and his whole head is a nose? Well that's pretty much how I feel except that I have the feeling that for the past 12 weeks my whole body is a pair of lungs attached to a throat! So I'm pretty exhausted all the time and haven't been able to resume any exercise!
So to talk about something else and nice, Lissa, I was wondering about your trip, I've got to call you so you can give me the detail of your trip. Everyone else, it so nice to see your names still around. Big Hugs to all..

[> Hi Isabelle! Nice to see you post again. Glad to hear you got to spend time in France again but I'm sorry you had to go through all the asthma and bronchitis. No fun! My DH has asthma and he has a couple different inhalers too. I hope now that you're back it will get better for you. I remember that commercial and even tho' you feel like "The Nose", you're way to pretty to look anything like that hahahahahahaha. I never had asthma until then and I know how you feel. The kids are hooked up to nebulizer 3 times a day during October. Right now my DD(8) is coughing so hard even being on albuterol that she sounds like she's going to cough up a lung. Puir thing, so a call to the dr to see what else we can do for her. So far so good with me this season(knock on wood!!) I've been drinking herbal tea-nettles(yup-nettles) and gingko biloba. Some one told me to try taking 400mg of quercetin would help asthma sufferers. I like to try healthy things first but hard to change diet esp the kids.
