Two epitaths:
A hero is no braver than an ordinary man, but he is braver five minutes longer.
Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803 - 1882)
Nurture your mind with great thoughts; to believe in the heroic makes heroes.
Benjamin Disraeli (1804 - 1881)

And not followed by Lake & Palmer.
I played RWE once upon a time in "The Night Thoreau Spent in Jail." Memories....

A Tarot reading... -- morgain, 17:08:07 05/21/03 Wed (24.202.207.194)
A question from Sharky....
What does the future hold for the franchise?
The Ace of Cups Reversed

The Ace of Cups reversed indicates wishful thinking on the part of the querant about a future relationship... ME is warned to not rush into a venture prematurely [based just on emotions] without taking time to judge the appropriateness of the new show and its needs. This card suggests that there is a delay in getting off the ground.

Well read & said -- TGWShark, 17:11:50 05/21/03 Wed (208.35.252.89)
Here's hoping ME doesn't continue with anything "half-baked"....
I'd hate for BtVS to be tainted by a poor outing in the future.

Hiya, Chani! *hugs* Aw, I'm just messing with Morgain. She thought she snuck that in. :-D -- BadPenguin, 18:37:10 05/21/03 Wed (172.139.65.162)
I'm very sorry you are feeling bummed out, Chani. You are not alone, many are feeling the sadness, this is a hard time. At least we still have each other coming on here. *hugs*
First time I ran into SVP was at a hotel in Rotterdam, they had one of those little displays that show their specialty drinks sitting on each table in the bar, and it had SVP at the bottom. I asked the waitress what it stood for and she told me.
I was like, you're not French! You're Dutch, we're in the Netherlands, this card is written in English, why do you have a French abbreviation here? Her answer? The Dutch thought it added a bit of extra class. :-)
You didn't like the matrix? Now, I'm sad, too. Not much of a story? Did they focus all on the special effects and ignore good storytelling? I hate when they do that. On the other hand, I've seen the previews for Charlie's Angels 2 and that looks like a well-done, brainless, very very fun movie to watch. I can hardly wait, the tongue-in-cheek zany humor always make me laugh so much. :-D
