I was going to say the same thing but decided that starting yet *another* thread would be pointless.

I've been hanging around here for several years. So long that I don't even know how long it's been. I think maybe 5 years or so. The board's gone through a lot of changes, and I recall seeing almost excatly the same fight a few years ago, only without Heywood, because he wasn't here at that time. And again a few years before that. It's an semi-annual thing I think.

The board is what we make of it. If you (generic) don't like something about it, be proactive. If you think people are posting too much "fangirl" stuff, counter with what you consider to be GAFF. But attacking each other doesn't help anyone.

Me, I'm here for the snark. One thing I find frustrating is that there used to be a lot more commentary and snarkage about GAFF. Nowadays, people just post short messages saying they found something bad, but there's little explanation of why they think it's bad and almost no snark. But snarkage is a talent, and not all of us have it. So when I post about GAFF I try to post good, (hopefully) entertaining snarkage about it when possible. I like to hope that it entertains some people and that they'll entertain me with good snarkage down the line.

So can we stop the fighting and get back to the snark?

Okay, off the soapbox. The mpreg archive (<a rel=nofollow target=_blank href="http://www.blooddance.com/mpreg)">http://www.blooddance.com/mpreg)</a> has updated for the first time since Christmas and I feel like I've just been let loose in a jewelry store during a blackout. So much badfic, so many treasures, it's going to be hard to keep the excitement down and pick one or two true gems to focus on.

Returning later today or tomorrow with new snark.

AC
