Nice broad brush there. You must have spashed paint in your eyes while swiping it about--it sounds like you're talking about Fandom Wank. A bunch of people frustrated with their lives for one reason who sit around picking at other people to make themselves look cool. Returning to your hypocrisy, you say that we GAFFers like to flame 10 year olds (not true, we typically don't let people know we're talking about their stories--unlike Fandom Wank, which makes a point at telling people they're being mocked) and are childish, yet you are telling me, a total stranger, that there's no particular reason why I shouldn't go off and kill myself? Very mature. I certainly hope I'm speaking to a junior high kid, since I hope anyone older would have a better since of proportion and less puerile meanness about them.

Regarding GAFF, I don't see any group of friends splitting apart. I see one disgruntled person sniping for months at another board member without once trying to start an honest conversation, and then choosing a time of vulnerability to attack that board member and others and try to force GAFF into his own mold. Sure, GAFF might be better with some changes, but people respond much better to a friend's persuasion than a hostile's attack.
