One of the biggest reasons is that Suvian authors are often young, ignorant, immature, or all of the above. Sues are often supplied with Angsty Past (TM), dealing with themes such as child abuse, rape, or loss. This alone would annoy most people who have experienced such trauma, firsthand or otherwise, because they are never, ever, dealt with sensitively by Suethors.

Another is how Suethors drag the canon characters down to the same level as their Sues. See "highschool fics" for this phenomenon, or when Sues simply make the canon cast OOC.
