You know what's funny? Until RoTK came out, and people were talking about Figwit having a speaking role (he's the one who tries to stop Arwen from riding back to Rivendell), I always thought this mystical Figwit people were ooo-ing over was the odd looking blond elf who sits next to Gandalf during the Council scene. And even funnier, I *still* can't spot Figwit during that scene, even though I know what he looks like now.
