I apologize for posting excerpts from your e-mail without your permission. I was a bit miffed that my name had been dragged into the thread, raising an old issue that should have been taken to private correspondence but, despite my requests, was never taken to private fora. As requested, I left out the personal details of your e-mail, but that does not excuse the fact that I should have sought your permission before posting. I apologize, again, for my hasty, rash, and impolite action.
